It’s release day for Susan Hill’s 8th book in her Simon Serrailler series. Hill continues to use this series to explore wider themes than the original crime and investigation. Having thought she was maybe running out of steam with the series with Serrailler 7 (not reviewed here), this one gets the thumbs up from me.
